Amazonia is the title track of Ana Caram’s 1990 album Amazonia. Written by Ana Caram, the tune runs about 7 minutes and 42 seconds and blends Latin pop with bossa nova ballad textures. The album, released on Chesky Records, was recorded at RCA Studio A in New York City in July 1990 with a lineup that includes Leandro Braga (arranger and piano), Steve Sacks (flute and alto sax), David Finck (bass), Portinho (drums), and Cyro Baptista (percussion).
