Armando's Rhumba is a jazz composition by Chick Corea, released on his 1976 studio album My Spanish Heart. The track runs about 5 minutes and sits within a program that blends jazz fusion with traditional Latin music, a defining feature of the album. My Spanish Heart features notable guests such as Stanley Clarke on bass, Jean-Luc Ponty on violin, Steve Gadd and Narada Michael Walden on drums, and Gayle Moran on vocals, and it was recorded in October 1976 in Kendun Recorders, Burbank, California. The album uses a mix of electric, acoustic, brass and string textures, and Armando's Rhumba has come to be regarded as a jazz standard. It was issued by Polydor and later reissued on Verve in an expanded edition.
