Catch Me is an original jazz guitar tune written by Joe Pass and the title track of his 1963 album Catch Me!. The album was released in July 1963 on Pacific Jazz and recorded at Pacific Jazz Studios in Hollywood, with Pass on guitar, Clare Fischer on piano and organ, Ralph Peña and Albert Stinson on bass, and Colin Bailey and Larry Bunker on drums. Catch Me! showcases Pass's lyrical, melodic playing and sits among a set of standards by Bill Evans, Gershwin, Mancini and others. The record, produced by Richard Bock, marked an early highlight in Pass's career and helped establish him as a leading jazz guitarist of the era.
