Children of the Night is a title used by several tunes across genres. The earliest is a 1961 jazz composition by Wayne Shorter, recorded by Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers. A later pop rock version appeared in 1990 by Richard Marx. The phrase also titles albums and other songs, including Nash the Slash's 1981 album Children of the Night and Tribulation's 2015 album The Children of the Night, as well as other artists such as Whitesnake, Survivor and Bliss n Eso who have songs with the same name.
