Cocktail Swing is a vintage gypsy jazz tune from the Paris scene, credited to Sarane Ferret and Le Swing Quintette De Paris. It was released in 1941 as the B-side on a 10-inch Odeon shellac single titled Swing 39 / Cocktail-Swing, with Swing 39 written by Django Reinhardt. The recording features Sarane Ferret on acoustic guitar and violinist Rob Bermoser with the Swing Quintette De Paris. Over the years it has appeared on compilations and streaming playlists, including Best of the Gypsy Jazz Kings and Jazz In Paris, Vol. 3, showcasing the early Paris swing style.
