Creep is the debut single by the English rock band Radiohead, released on 21 September 1992 by EMI and later included on their 1993 debut album Pablo Honey. It is an alternative rock and grunge track famous for blasts of guitar noise and lyrics about obsessive unrequited attraction. The song borrows elements from The Air That I Breathe - Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood are credited as co-writers after a legal case. It was recorded at Chipping Norton Recording Studios in Oxfordshire and produced by Sean Slade and Paul Q. Kolderie. Although it initially charted poorly, a 1993 reissue turned it into an international hit and it remains Radiohead's best selling single. A censored radio version exists, and the accompanying video was shot at the Venue in Oxford. The track has earned a lasting legacy, appearing on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time lists (2021 and 2024), being covered by numerous artists, and reaching over 1 billion views on YouTube by April 2024. In 2021 Thom Yorke released a remix titled Creep (Very 2021 Rmx).
