Decision is a hard bop jazz tune written by Sonny Rollins and featured on his 1957 Blue Note album Sonny Rollins, Volume 1. The 8:03 long piece opens Side 1 of the record, with Rollins on tenor sax joined by Donald Byrd on trumpet, Wynton Kelly on piano, Gene Ramey on bass, and Max Roach on drums. It was recorded on December 16, 1956 at Van Gelder Studio in Hackensack, New Jersey, and released in March 1957 on Blue Note label BLP 1542, produced by Alfred Lion.
