Destinée is a track by the Romane Quintet released in 1994 as the A-side of a promo CD single Destinée / Vent D'Est (JSL 0231). It was recorded at Studio Ark in Paris on November 15-18, 1993. The two-track release features Romane on guitar with Philippe Cuillerier and Roland Bajata on guitars, Pierre Maingourd on bass, and Florin Niculescu on violin, produced by Joël Leibovitz and engineered by Ivan Apostolo. The release blends jazz with Latin textures and offers a lyrical, fate-inspired mood typical of Romane's guitar-led style.
