Dexterity is a 1947 jazz composition by Charlie Parker that has become a jazz standard. The tune is in B-flat major and is based on the chord changes to Gershwin's I Got Rhythm from the 1930 Broadway musical Girl Crazy. The B section features the full ensemble. The original recording was by the Charlie Parker Quintet, with Miles Davis and Duke Jordan, released on Dial Records in 1949. Dexterity has been covered by several artists, including the Art Ensemble of Chicago for the album Message to Our Folks (1969), Roy Hargrove for Parker's Mood, and Alex Riel on the album Riel Atin'.
