Diverse is a Charlie Parker bebop tune from a Mercury-Verve session that also produced Segment and Passport. The tunes are often treated as the same take or as alternate titles for the same piece, with Segment thought to be the original title. All three were first issued on a Verve 12-inch LP MG V 8009, and later reissued in collections like The Unheard Bird that present the complete session with multiple takes.
