Django's Tiger 2 is a Gypsy Jazz instrumental built on the classic tune Django's Tiger, written by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. It was first recorded and released on January 31, 1946 by Django Reinhardt et le Quintette du Hot Club de France with Grappelli. The piece is a hallmark of the postwar European jazz scene, showcasing tight guitar and violin interplay that defined the Hot Club sound. Over the years it has spawned numerous adaptations and versions, with more than fifty listed, making it a standard in gypsy jazz and a staple on many albums and live performances. Django's Tiger 2 continues the Reinhardt–Grappelli tradition of violin led Gypsy Jazz.
