Eisenhower is an instrumental jazz tune written by guitarist John Scofield and performed by the John Scofield Quartet. It appears on the 1991 Blue Note album Meant to Be as track 7. The album was recorded in December 1990 at Power Station in New York City and produced by Don Grolnick, with Joe Lovano on tenor sax, Marc Johnson on bass, and Bill Stewart on drums. Meant to Be was the first Scofield release to be issued under The John Scofield Quartet name and helped establish Lovano as a key collaborator. The piece showcases Scofield’s guitar-driven jazz style within a post-bop framework.
