Feels So Good is a 1977 jazz album by Chuck Mangione, released on December 8, 1977. Recorded in Kendun Recorders in Burbank, it blends smooth jazz and easy listening and runs about 46 minutes. The title track Feels So Good is a long instrumental piece featuring Mangione on flugelhorn and electric piano; an edited single version reached No 4 on the US charts and topped the adult contemporary chart. The album itself peaked at No 2 on the Billboard 200 in 1978, behind the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. Other tracks include Maui-Waui and Last Dance, with a lineup that features Chris Vadala, Grant Geissman, Charles Meeks and James Bradley Jr. Feels So Good has been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA. A fun note: the tune was referenced on the animated series King of the Hill, where Mangione appeared as himself.
