I Remember You is a popular song published in 1941 with music by Victor Schertzinger and lyrics by Johnny Mercer. It was first recorded by Jimmy Dorsey in 1941 and introduced in the 1942 film The Fleet's In. The tune has become a 1940s jazz and pop standard. Notable covers include Frank Ifield's 1962 yodeling style version that topped the UK chart and sold about 1.1 million copies there, Slim Whitman in 1966, Glen Campbell on his 1987 album Still Within the Sound of My Voice, Björk who recorded an acoustic harp arrangement as the B-side to Venus as a Boy in 1993, and George Michael who included a harp and strings version on his 1999 album Songs from the Last Century.
