I'm Gonna Laugh You Right Out of My Life is a witty vocal ballad about moving on from a broken relationship - written by Cy Coleman and Joseph McCarthy Jr. - and first recorded and released by Nat King Cole with an orchestra conducted by Nelson Riddle, with the recording in 1954 and the release in 1955. The tune is a mid century pop and jazz standard that has since been covered by more than eighty artists, in both vocal and instrumental versions, including Mel Tormé, Johnny Mathis, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan and Natalie Cole.
