I've Found a New Baby is a popular jazz standard written by Jack Palmer and Spencer Williams. It was introduced in 1926 by Clarence Williams' Blue Five, marking its release as a lively addition to the jazz repertoire. The tune has been recorded by many artists, with early popular versions by Ted Lewis and Ethel Waters in 1926. Notable later interpretations include Sidney Bechet and his New Orleans Feetwarmers in 1932, and Bing Crosby with Eddie Heywood in 1945. Bobby Darin included the song on his 1960 album Winners, and Charlie Christian's influential guitar solo with the Benny Goodman Orchestra in 1940 helped cement its status in modern jazz. The piece also appears on Sonny Rollins' 1958 album Sonny Rollins and the Contemporary Leaders.
