I've Got a Crush on You is a song composed by George Gershwin with lyrics by Ira Gershwin, published in 1930 by New World Music. It was introduced on Broadway in Treasure Girl (1928) by Clifton Webb and Mary Hay, and later appeared in Strike Up the Band (1930) sung by Doris Carson and Gordon Smith - it has since become a jazz standard in the vocal repertoire. The tune has been widely recorded by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan, and Ella Fitzgerald, with Sinatra's 1947 Columbia recording giving it early chart life and a 1960 re-recording for the album Nice 'n' Easy. It has appeared in films and musicals, and was featured in the 2012 Gershwin tribute Nice Work If You Can Get It. Notable instrumental versions have been made by Nat Adderley and Ike Quebec, among others.
