Just in Time is a Broadway show tune from Bells Are Ringing (1956), with music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. It was introduced by Judy Holliday and Sydney Chaplin in 1956, and later sung by Holliday and Dean Martin in the 1960 film adaptation. The Tony Bennett recording, arranged by Percy Faith, was released as a single on October 8, 1956 and later appeared on the album Mr. Broadway: Tony's Greatest Broadway Hits. The song is a swinging jazz standard whose lyrics describe finding the right person just in time, saving a life that had seemed to be running out of options.
