Let's Groove is a 1981 post-disco funk-pop song by Earth, Wind & Fire, released as the lead single from their eleventh album Raise!. Written by Maurice White and Wayne Vaughn and produced by White, the track blends synthesizers and keyboards with live guitars to revive the disco-inflected sound of the era. The song runs about 5 1/2 minutes on the album version and moves at a brisk tempo of around 126 BPM. It became a major international hit, reaching the top 3 in the United States and United Kingdom, and hitting high positions in several other countries; it also spent eight weeks at number one on the US Hot Soul Singles chart and earned US Gold and UK Platinum certifications. The memorable video was the first to air on BET’s Video Soul. Over the years it has spawned covers and adaptations, including a 1995 CDB version and Asia’s Got Talent charity performance in 2015, and its groove has influenced later works such as Calvin Harris’s Feels, which credited White and Vaughn as writers. Lorenzo Bocci later arranged a concert band version aimed at recapturing the original atmosphere.
