Litha is an instrumental jazz composition by Chick Corea. It first appeared in 1967 as a Stan Getz Quartet recording on the album Sweet Rain, with Corea on piano. Corea later recorded Litha himself on the 1968 Chick Corea album Tones for Joan's Bones, a hard bop session that features Woody Shaw, Joe Farrell, Steve Swallow, and Joe Chambers, with a track length of 13 minutes 33 seconds. The tune showcases Corea's lyrical and energetic writing and helped establish him as a rising composer at the time. Litha thus links Corea's early work with Stan Getz's 1960s repertoire while becoming a notable piece in Corea's own catalog.
