Moments to Remember is a 1955 traditional pop tune about nostalgia, written by Robert Allen and Al Stillman for Perry Como but turned down by his management. It was recorded by the Canadian quartet The Four Lads in June 1955 for Columbia Records as the B side to Dream On, My Love, and released July 18, 1955. The song, produced by Ray Ellis, runs 3 minutes 10 seconds and appears on The Four Lads' album 16 Most Requested Songs (1956). It climbed to number 2 on Billboard Top 100, sold about 4 million copies, and became the group's first gold record. The recording features two uncredited female voices, Lois Winters and Pat Kirby, who contribute the opening phrase and mid-song spoken lines. It has been covered by Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong, Ronnie Hilton, and others, and remains a popular standard of the era.
