Nacada is a jazz instrumental composition by Pat Metheny. It was first released in 1977 by The Gary Burton Quartet with Eberhard Weber on the album The Gary Burton Quartet with Eberhard Weber. The tune features Methenyβs melodic guitar in a collaborative post-bop setting with Burtonβs vibraphone and Weberβs bass, and is noted for its lyrical, intertwining lines. It has since been revisited by NoΓ«l AkchotΓ© in 2016 and by Sarah Murcia with NoΓ«l AkchotΓ© in 2017, showing its lasting appeal in contemporary jazz.
