The original recording was by Jack Denny & His Orchestra, released in 1931. The tune became a standard and was revisited in 1950 by The Mills Brothers, Paul Weston, Ray Anthony, Ralph Flanagan, Frankie Laine and Frank Sinatra, with perhaps the best known version sung by the McGuire Sisters. It was also featured in the 1950 film Three Little Words about the songwriters.
