Nuages 3 is a classical guitar arrangement of Django Reinhardt's famous tune Nuages. Nuages is a 1940 instrumental jazz standard by Django Reinhardt and the Quintette du Hot Club de France, released as a 78-RPM single on the French Swing label with Les Yeux Noirs on the flip side - the title means Clouds and the piece became a cornerstone of the gypsy swing repertoire. Reinhardt recorded several versions starting with two 1940 takes in F major with a clarinet melody, a celebrated December 1940 arrangement with two clarinets, a 1946 version in G major, and a 1953 session shortly before his death featuring electric guitar. English and French lyrics were added later, including the English title It's the Bluest Kind of Blues, and the tune has been widely covered by many artists.
