Peel Me a Grape is a witty jazz vocal tune written by Dave Frishberg. It was first released in August 1962 by Anita O'Day with Cal Tjader, a recording produced by John Hammond. Frishberg originally wrote the song for Fran Jeffries and it became his first published lyric after Frank Loesser published it.
