Put Your Records On is a 2006 song by English singer Corinne Bailey Rae from her self-titled debut album. Written by Rae with John Beck and Steve Chrisanthou and produced by Steve Chrisanthou, it was released as the album’s second single in Europe on 20 February 2006 and as the lead single in North America. The jazz-infused pop-soul R&B ballad opens with an homage to Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds. It became Rae’s signature tune, topping the UK R&B chart and peaking at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart, while reaching 64 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and it earned Grammy nominations for Song of the Year and Record of the Year in 2007. A 2020 cover by Ritt Momney gained viral popularity on TikTok. The song was also featured in films such as Venus (2006).
