Someday My Prince Will Come is a 1937 song from Walt Disney's animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It was written by lyricist Larry Morey and composer Frank Churchill, and performed in the movie by Adriana Caselotti, Snow White's voice. In the film, Snow White sings it as a bedtime song for the dwarfs - and later reprises it in a pie scene and at the end when the prince takes Snow White away. The tune appears on the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs soundtrack (1937) and has since become a jazz standard, typically played in the key of B-flat major. It has inspired many covers across jazz and pop, including Miles Davis on his 1961 album Someday My Prince Will Come, Dave Brubeck on Dave Digs Disney (1957), and Bill Evans on Portrait in Jazz (1960). The American Film Institute ranked it No. 19 on its list of the 100 greatest songs in movie history.
