Speak No Evil is a jazz tune by Wayne Shorter and the title track of his 1964 album Speak No Evil. The album was released in June 1966 on Blue Note and features Shorter on tenor sax with Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Elvin Jones. The music blends hard bop, post-bop, and modal jazz. It was recorded December 24, 1964 at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs. The cover photo shows Shorter's first wife Teruko Nakagami.
