Turn Out the Stars is a jazz piano composition by Bill Evans. It appears on his 1994 live album Turn Out the Stars, recorded on August 2, 1980 at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London with Marc Johnson on bass and Joe LaBarbera on drums, and released on the Dreyfus Jazz label. The piece showcases Evans in a thoughtful, introspective mood typical of his late-period playing. A later six-CD box set, Turn Out the Stars: The Final Village Vanguard Recordings, released in 1996 on Warner Bros, collects Evans's 1980 Village Vanguard performances and includes this title track.
