We See is a Thelonious Monk composition performed by Steve Lacy on the live album We See – Thelonious Monk Songbook. The recording captures Lacy’s 1992 performance in Willisau, Switzerland and was released in 1993 on the hat ART label. The album features Lacy on soprano sax with a sextet including Steve Potts, Hans Kennel, Sonhando Estwick, Jean-Jacques Avenel and John Betsch. The track list centers on Monk tunes such as We See, Shuffle Boil, Evidence, Reflections, Ruby, My Dear, Eronel and Monk's Mood, with a CD reissue adding Thelonious and Misterioso and Hanky-Panky by Lacy.
