In 1937 the tune had popular versions by Fats Waller and by Wayne King, and Mildred Bailey recorded it on January 19, 1937 for Vocalion (No. 3456). The song is considered a jazz and pop standard and later appeared in Ella Fitzgerald's 1958 album Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Irving Berlin Songbook.
