Ma Première Guitare is a French jazz-infused pop song with lyrics in French. Sacha Distel wrote the music and Jean Broussolle the words. The original recording was made by Sacha Distel with Stéphane Grappelli, with an orchestra directed by Gérard Gustin, and released in 1972 on a Pathé 7-inch single (77.931). Its B-side was "Wakadou Wakadé (Ooh-Wakka-Doo-Wakka-Day)".
The song is performed in gypsy jazz and swing style, with Grappelli's violin at the centre of the sound. Later versions include those by Biréli Lagrène (2002), Hot Club de Norvège (1986 and 1999), Jazz Pigalle, Konrad Beikircher, Taylor Swing and Simone Magliozzi. An English-language version, "My First Guitar" (1973), is a separate work.
