"Here, There and Everywhere" is a soft rock and pop ballad credited to Lennon-McCartney, though Paul McCartney wrote it at John Lennon's home in Weybridge in June 1966. The Beatles recorded it on 14 June 1966 at EMI Studio Two (now Abbey Road Studios) in London, produced by George Martin and engineered by Geoff Emerick. It was released on 5 August 1966 by Parlophone in the UK, as side one of their seventh studio album, Revolver. The song is in 4/4 time and switches between G major and B-flat major. Critics praised it, and Mojo ranked it fourth greatest song of all time in 2000. The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows" is named as an influence on the song. Emmylou Harris recorded a cover, and a re-recorded version of the Beatles' song appeared in the 1984 film Give My Regards to Broad Street.
