"Keepin' Out of Mischief Now" is a jazz song with music by Fats Waller and lyrics by Andy Razaf, published in 1932. Louis Armstrong and His Orchestra recorded it in March 1932, and the recording was first released as a single. The song is in the key of C and has the swing-era jazz feel typical of its period. Dinah Washington recorded it for her 1957 album Dinah Washington Sings Fats Waller, and Barbra Streisand included it on The Barbra Streisand Album in 1963. Sammy Davis Jr. recorded a version with Count Basie, arranged by Quincy Jones, for the 1965 album Our Shining Hour. Lee Wiley, Teddi King, Paul Weston and Jackie Gleason also recorded the song.
