Swing Valse (also written "Swing valse") is an instrumental musette and gypsy swing waltz with no lyrics. It was composed by Gus Viseur, a Belgian-born French accordionist (1915-1974), and Pierre "Baro" Ferret (1908-1978), a French musician. Viseur was one of the first jazz accordionists and a member of the Hot Club de France. He recorded the tune with his orchestra in 1940, and the recording was released as a single. The piece is listed among Viseur's most representative works. Its style combines gypsy jazz and swing, and the waltz has been recorded by many later players, including Bireli Lagrene, Romane, Richard Galliano, Sylvain Luc, Didier Lockwood, Marcel Azzola and Djangology.
