Walkin' Up is an instrumental jazz composition by Bill Evans, credited to him alone as writer and composer, and it has no lyrics. The original recording was made by the Bill Evans Trio on 29 May 1962 and first released in 1964 on the album How My Heart Sings! on the Riverside label. Its release is classified in the post bop style. The tune is a swinging piece for piano trio, written in the manner of Evans's own playing.
Joe Pass, featuring Clare Fischer, recorded a version in 1963, which later appeared on the Joe Pass album Catch Me!. Further versions include those by Warren Bernhardt (1989), Alan Pasqua (2011) and the Colombo Menniti Trio (2017).
