Little Willie Leaps is an instrumental bebop tune credited to Miles Davis as its sole composer, and it has no lyrics. Miles Davis' All Stars recorded it on 14 August 1947 in New York City. The performance was issued as the B side of the Savoy 10-inch shellac single "Chasing the Bird / Little Willie Leaps" (Savoy 977), first released around January 1948, although some database listings date the single's master to 1949.
No co-writer is credited, and Charlie Parker is not named as a writer. Later recordings have been made by Red Rodney, Warne Marsh and Kenny Drew, Marc Cary, Charlie Watts, The Tentet and Sheila Jordan.
