Mélodie au crépuscule is a French-language gypsy jazz tune from 1943, with music by Django Reinhardt and lyrics by Lawrence Riesner. Both men are credited as writers, and Reinhardt is also listed as the performer. Reinhardt recorded it with his orchestra in Paris on 7 July 1943, and the recording was first released as a single. The song is also known as "Melodie Au Crepuscule", and English-language versions often appear under the title "Love's Melody".
The Quintet of the Hot Club of France recorded it in 1946 as "Love's Melody". Later versions that stand out include recordings by Joseph Reinhardt (1967), Christian Escoudé and Alby Cullaz (1979), the Rosenberg Trio (1994), Jimmy Rosenberg with Angelo Debarre, and Pearl Django (2003).
