Sno' Peas is an instrumental jazz tune with no lyrics, composed by the American jazz pianist Phil Markowitz, who was born in Brooklyn in 1952. The earliest documented recording is by pianist Bill Evans with Toots Thielemans. It was made in 1978 and released on the album Affinity (Warner Bros., April 1979), where it appears as track 2, running 5:51. The recording features Marc Johnson on bass and Eliot Zigmund on drums.
Later recordings include a 1989 version by Bert van den Brink, a 1991 recording by the Phil Markowitz Trio on the album Sno' Peas (Ken Music/Catalysis), and a 1993 recording by Russell Malone.
