"Moments to Remember" is a 1955 popular song about nostalgia, with music by Robert Allen and lyrics by Al Stillman. It was first written for Perry Como, but his management turned it down. The Canadian quartet The Four Lads recorded it for Columbia Records on June 21, 1955, with Ray Ellis as producer, and it was released as a single on July 18, 1955, as the B-side of "Dream On, My Love, Dream On". Airplay grew after Bill Randle endorsed the record on Cleveland radio. The recording reached number 2 on Billboard's Top 100, the early Hot 100, and sold about 4 million copies, the group's first gold record. An intro verse and bridge harmony were sung, uncredited, by Lois Winters of the Ray Charles Singers, and spoken lines were delivered by Pat Kirby. Other versions include recordings by Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong in 1955, the Deep River Boys in 1956, the Statler Brothers and the Vogues in 1969, and Anne Murray in 1993. The song appears in the musical Forever Plaid.
