It's You or No One is a popular standard with music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Sammy Cahn, published in 1948. It was introduced in the Warner Bros film Romance on the High Seas (1948), directed by Michael Curtiz, which was Doris Day's film debut. Day was the first to record the song, for Columbia, with a release in June 1948. Sarah Vaughan for Musicraft and Harry James also recorded it, from December 1947. The song is sung in English. Early and 1950s recordings include versions by Gene Ammons, Hampton Hawes, Tony Scott, Cal Tjader, J. J. Johnson, Charlie Mariano, Jackie McLean and Earl Coleman. It is a jazz standard, often played as a ballad or as a swing number.
