“Les démons de minuit” is a French pop song recorded by Images in 1986. Mario Ramsamy wrote the lyrics, and the songwriting credits also include Richard Seff, Stéphane Despres, Jean-Louis Pujade, Philippe Mimouni and Christophe Despres. Released in June 1986 as Images' debut single, it was the first single from the group's debut album, Album d'Images. The original album version runs for 3:54, while the 12-inch maxi-single presented an extended 6:05 version alongside an instrumental track.
The record became a major summer hit in France, reaching number one on the French singles chart for 13 weeks and receiving platinum certification. It also topped the Walloon chart in Belgium and reached number 20 on the Eurochart Hot 100. Images later re-recorded it as a remix in 1996 for Jusqu'au bout de la nuit. The song was included in Émile and Images' 1999 medley “Jusqu'au bout de la nuit” and was covered by DV8 featuring R. Fame in 2002 and by Soma Riba and DJ Fou in 2005.
