Blues Five Spot is an instrumental jazz composition by Thelonious Monk, written as a 12-bar blues in the bop idiom. It has no lyrics. The original performance was given by the Thelonious Monk Quartet in 1958 at the Five Spot Café in New York, and it was first released that year on the Riverside album Misterioso, where it is listed as "Blues Five Spot". Monk recorded the tune again on later occasions. The Milestone album Blues Five Spot, released in 1984, gathers Five Spot recordings from 1958 and 1959 together with a 1961 Paris concert.
