“Pour que tu m'aimes encore” is a French-language romantic ballad recorded by Canadian singer Céline Dion for her thirteenth studio album, D'eux, released in 1995. Jean-Jacques Goldman wrote the song and co-produced it with Erick Benzi. Issued as the album's lead single on 13 March 1995, it pairs an impassioned vocal line with a solid beat, allowing the melody and its emotional phrasing to carry the arrangement. An English-language version, “If That's What It Takes”, appeared on Dion's 1996 album Falling into You.
The single became Dion's most successful French-language release and is widely regarded as her signature song. It spent 12 weeks at number one in France, 15 weeks at number one in Wallonia, and reached the top 10 in the United Kingdom. It won Song of the Year at the Victoires de la Musique and Most Popular Song of the Year at the Félix Awards. Dion has regularly performed it in concert, and it later appeared on the compilations On ne change pas and My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection.
