Coral is an instrumental jazz tune composed by Keith Jarrett, who is credited as its sole writer. It was first recorded by vibraphonist Gary Burton in March 1973, during sessions held on 5 and 6 March, with his quartet of Mick Goodrick, Abraham Laboriel and Harry Blazer. The performance was released later that year on ECM as the second track of the album The New Quartet, produced by Manfred Eicher, and runs about four minutes and three seconds. The album was reviewed by AllMusic, the Penguin Guide to Jazz Recordings and the Rolling Stone Jazz Record Guide. Later recordings include versions by guitarists Emily Remler (1984), Al Di Meola (1985), Sylvain Luc (2006) and John Scofield (2022).
