"All About Ronnie" is a jazz ballad with English lyrics, written in both words and music by the American songwriter Joe Greene (1915-1986). The original recording was made by Stan Kenton and His Orchestra with a vocal by Chris Connor on 25 May 1953. It was released as a single that June on Capitol (F2511), coupled with "Baia". Chris Connor is said to have since become identified with the song. Ronnie Ball's 1956 album on Savoy bears the same title. Later recordings include versions by Julie London (1964), Ran Blake and Ruth Cameron, which show that the song has been taken up by musicians working in different styles over several decades.
