I'm Gonna Laugh You Right Out of My Life is an English-language song with music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Joseph McCarthy Jr. Its original recording was made by Nat "King" Cole with an orchestra conducted by Nelson Riddle on 20 December 1954. That performance was first issued on the single "Take Me Back to Toyland" in December 1955, and it also appeared on Cole's 1957 album This Is Nat King Cole.
Later recordings by Mel Tormé, Johnny Mathis, Nancy Wilson, Peggy Lee, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Carmen McRae, Natalie Cole, the Holly Cole Trio, Shirley Horn with Charlie Haden and Keith Jarrett with Charlie Haden are among many versions by singers and jazz musicians. Albums by Johnny Mathis and the Holly Cole Trio are among those that include the song.
