"Chovendo na roseira" is a Portuguese-language bossa nova and MPB song by Antônio Carlos Jobim, who is credited as both composer and lyricist. It was composed for the film The Adventurers, known in Brazil by the same title as the song. An instrumental version, titled "Children's Games", appears on the album Stone Flower (CTI Records, 1970), produced by Creed Taylor and arranged by Eumir Deodato, recorded between March and May 1970. The original performance is given as Osmar Milito's 1971 vocal recording.
Elis Regina and Tom Jobim recorded the song for their 1974 album Elis & Tom. Many other artists have since recorded it, among them Gal Costa, Rosa Passos, Edu Lobo and Tom Jobim, Sarah Vaughan, and Stacey Kent, whose version appears on Double Rainbow.
