"No Moon at All" is a jazz standard with music by David Mann and lyrics by Redd Evans, published in 1947. The Nat King Cole Trio recorded it on 3 November 1947, but it was first released in January 1949 as the single "It Only Happens Once" (Capitol 15358), with "No Moon at All" on the reverse side. Doris Day's vocal version, dated January 1949, is one of the early hit recordings of the song.
Julie London, Anita O'Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Tormé, Nana Mouskouri and Diana Krall are among the many singers and instrumentalists who have recorded it since.
