"Micro" (also known as "Micro (Mike) II") is a fast, swinging gypsy jazz instrumental composed by Django Reinhardt, with no lyrics. Reinhardt performed it with the Quintette du Hot Club de France. According to the available dating, the original performance took place on 10 March 1948 and was issued as the single "Mike", with Stéphane Grappelli in the group. A later version, recorded in Rome in 1949-1950, appears on The Rome Sessions, Vol 1 - 1949/1950, released in 1993.
The tune is built on the rhythm guitar pulse associated with the Hot Club style, and its feel is fast and swinging. Many guitarists have recorded it, among them Biréli Lagrène, the Rosenberg Trio, Joscho Stephan and Angelo Debarre.
